Thanks to the skin event I have decided to post a new journal update since my recent journal history is a bit....staggered? (Would that be the correct word to use in this situation?) Either way, let's get to the updates:

*SCHOOL*

I am currently a junior and this semester has been an absolute bitch. Unfortunately, I only enjoy one of my four classes. The class in question is called History and Systems of Psychology. It's a wonderful course on, well, the history of psychology. Albeit a bit dry, I am still able to write a cople papers on my interests and opinions where it pertains to developmental philosophy and my favorite psychologist (I could only pick one of them.). I ended up writing seventeen pages instead of the required six for the first paper and for the second I have chosen C.G. Jung, the founder of what I like to call "Dream Psychology".

Aside from that, I'm still struggling in my hard sciences: invertebrate zoology and general chemistry II. That, and, I had to take college algebra for a second time. I swear, me and numbers are like Taylor and Kanye.

*STAND-UP*

Earlier this fall I was presented with two offers to do stand-up in Austin. One of them is at the famous Velveeta Lounge that resides at Esther's Follies on Sixth Street. All I have to do is sign0upo and pray that I get a slot. Unfortunately, show are on Thursday nights, the same night as my gen. chem. labs. The other job is at a sushi bar called Hayashi. However, we have yet to do a follow-up after our initial and impromptu meeting. I'm still hopeful though.

*ART*

At the moment I have very little time to add to my portfolio. As it stands, I may not add much until after Thanksgiving and around the holidays, if possible. I am hoping to find more interesting subjects and to finish up the "Plants Gone Bad" series. After that I want to play with more animal photos and perhaps dabble in dramatic buildings.
